Do you want to visit several lodges while you are in New Zealand? Or travel between the islands? Do you already have a favoured fishing lodge or would you like to try somewhere new? Do you want to see other sights and wonders of this beautiful country?
Email us with your plans. We can prepare a personalised or group itinerary and quotation to suit your requirements. We will prepare an itinerary that offers you exactly what you want to see, do, taste and experience.
We have superior accommodation that will provide you with a luxurious, personalised stay. We can match this with world-class fishing, tours and activities to suit your interests, and restaurants, wineries and breweries that cater to your tastes and preferences. And we will ensure your drive-times are practical for days on the road (many highways in New Zealand are narrow and slow compared to other places).
New Zealand is comprised of islands – two big ones and a number of smaller, more remote ones. All the good fly-fishing is on the two larger ones – the North and South Islands. Brown trout are found chiefly in the South Island, and Rainbow trout in the North Island (New Zealanders say ‘in’ one of the larger islands rather than ‘on’ an island). Once you’ve decided where you want to fish we will come up with an itinerary based on your requests and our recommendations.
We can arrange your personal or group travel itinerary complete with lodge stays, and transfers to and from those lodges. We can arrange flights to and from New Zealand, and between the islands once you are here. Or you may want to hire a car for some, or all, of your stay and take the inter-island ferry between the North and South Islands. And if the luxury option just isn’t you then we have a few superior 3 and 4 star options as well.
Do you want a few days in one of the gateway cities before you head to your fishing lodge? Or take some wind-down time at one of the country’s beautiful luxury lodges after your fishing adventure? Cruise ships leave from Auckland to ports in Australia and the Pacific so consider arriving in or leaving the country by luxury cruise ship – what a great way to travel the South Pacific.
We can advise and arrange all these aspects of your tour, and more.
During your lodge stay there are usually beautiful places nearby to enjoy the local foods and wines, the natural environment, the museums and galleries, or the markets. Ask us about these too.
We work with all the world’s major airlines and accommodation providers, quality travel and tour wholesalers, and local operators. We are IATA-accredited and TAANZ-bonded and work to the highest standards of tour and travel provision. Sue has spent much of the last 20 years working with the luxury NZ travel industry so is very aware of travellers’ requirements during their stay.
